The VAST majority of sexual offenders are males attacking females. Gender segregated facilities keep women safe when they are in situations where their bodies are exposed. Mark my words - sexual offenders will abuse this policy and it offers no possible way for women and children to protect themselves.

This is a law that I firmly believe will permanently change things for the worse. I believe the first priority of society should be to protect the innocent. This law opens up the opportunity for predators and voyeurs to harm. It is also a costly law to enforce, which will cause undue strain on taxpayers, business owners, and the general public. This law was not voted on, nor passed by elected officials, and I feel that it violates my constitution. I do want everyone to be protected, included transgender individuals, but going about it by raising risk and cost to the rest of the public is not the way.

I work with kids with disabilities and this sort of policy puts them, already at extremely high risk for harassment, at a higher one. Please reverse this.

I PROTEST THIS NEW POLICY!!!
Simply put, as a woman, I will not share a public bathroom with any kind of strange man! Women need their privacy, and children male or female, should not be exposed to strange men in the bathroom!!! We teach them Stranger Danger, and some men are known to be violent, and women and their children need protection from crazies in the bathroom!!! Women have been molested and even killed in public bathrooms, our children need their safety protected too!!!

Boy room is for boys, girls room is for girls.
Meaning the gender you were born.

I share no prejudice against people who identify with another gender from that which they were born. Gender neutral bathrooms as a norm, and without security, simply invites predators to prey on women and children. I find this unacceptable, and will not support this practice in order to appease those who feel judged based upon the
gender they identify with. In my opinion, this is more so an issue of a wish for the acceptance of a person's sexuality rather than their gender. Otherwise, the LGBTQIA community would already respect the very possible, sinister consequences that could come from blurring the lines of gender in this particularly vulnerable setting. If you have lady parts or are a child protect yourself from predators and use a women's bathroom, and if you have man parts respect that women and children are statistically more likely to be raped, molested, or harrassed. If you have man parts and fear being raped, molested, or harrassed in the men's bathroom, by all means use the women's bathroom when it is unoccupied or announce your presence and ask if the ladies would be comfortable. As a woman, I would be respectful to a man who announced his presence, asked if I would be comfortable, and ended up in the lady's room with me. The real issue here is safety, and respect. These two elements are far more important than what gender ANYONE identifies with. Thank you.

You have put a child or a woman at risk by passing this law. A woman or a child should have the same rights. You have just stripped those rights from them. This law is to one sided. What were you thinking???!!!

I have 4 girls and don't feel it safe for them to go into the bathroom (or locker room at swim lessons) in a public place while this is in place. Makes it hard to go anywhere. :(
