Girls need to be safe in a women's restroom. There should be no men in there! Perverts will abuse this law and harm young girls.

I cannot believe that "human rights" means taking away so many humans' rights. I don't feel comfortable using the bathroom, especially a locker room, with anyone of the opposite sex no matter how they "identify".

I am a victim of rape. I have been raped and sexually assaulted, starting from ages 5, 14, 17, 24. I am married now to an amazing man, I have suffered with intamacy Issues and thank god he has loved me through it all. I felt immediate fear with this policy at a gym in an open and vulnerable situation. I don't fear people who are transgender as I know several and have also worked along side with them. My heart has compassion, but as I read this story I felt like I wasn't alone in my immediate reaction of "wow" this will open the door more then just transgenders.

This "policy" is wrong on various levels. Shame on Olympia for passing this through! The people of Washington do NOT want this "policy"!

While I am all for equality and allowing people access to facilities that make them feel comfortable, endangering vulnerable populations is not the right answer. I would rather see every public facility mandated to have 4 bathroom facilities or mandated to have one exclusively for the use of families. I think there are other solutions available that would be better options.
