It is sad that there are many Spiritualist Churches whereby those who claim they are of a Spiritual Nature act with ego and mean spiritedness in a way that is to the detriment of the church and only serves themselves. Absolute power corrupts absolutely and there are little ways to ensure that these people who bring such a negative and lack of humanity attitude to all that they to, to be made responsible or culpable for their actions. This is usually from a place of fear but it doesn't make it reasonable behaviour. It does say more about them, than you. A.G.M. and committee decisions ignored. People "sacked" from committees for no valid reason, "special measures" imposed for buying carpets! Cookson wouldn't last 2 minutes in a proper job. She's safe for now under this Stalinist regime! We are all behind you Bob!

Bob it really isn't difficult to upset Janette Cookson you only have to speak up and tell the truth. She is renowned for such behaviour and did the same to me when I had a heart attack and was on a cardiac ward! From a jurisprudence point of view the SNU rules are archaic and against natural justice and do not stand up to today's legal standards. No Committee member should be removed in such a highhanded way with no way of clearing their names. Too much trust is put in the roles of the Support Officers who in my experience are biased and self serving. They are tearing the heart out of the Spiritualist movement and causing many to walk away from the churches which brings the movement into disrepute maybe someone with integrity and courage will listen to the voices of discontent and realise that there is something rotten that needs to be rooted out and healed for the benefit of all. I wish you well with your petition and hope that spirituality had its deepest and truest level will prevail.

I am appalled by Bob's removal from the committee. I see from the SNU rules that you do not state any criteria for the NEC to remove a member of committee. To me this is an organisation working without integrity. If you cannot publish such criteria, the rule should not be there. Please reinstate Bob as soon as possible.
