Planning decisions need to be consistent, inline with local and regional policy and sensitive to local social, environmental and aesthetic criteria. Obviously none of these apply in this instance and this application should be refused.

An outrageous decision which totally stinks of corruption at all levels. I have asked to be anonymous because the applicant threatened me when he knew I had objected to his planning application. What will now stop all the chalets on Whitsand Bay becoming two storey .... and Maker will no doubt have the houses built now. What is there to stop anyone doing exactly what they want! I am ashamed to be a resident of Cornwall
