The consent for this property to be built is totally wrong and questions the ability of the council to act in Cornwall’s best interest. Appalling decision.

AONBs have to be protected from people that think they are above everyone and that the rules do not apply to them!

Utterly inappropriate approval. AONB. Why don't you sanction the development of a retail park whilst you're at it? Allow this house with its spurious reasons for building, and before you know it, Rame and surrounding will be completely obscured. STOP CONCRETING OVER CORNWALL!!

Cornwall is being blighted by vacuous glass houses. All very well for the owner to have uninterrupted views, but we have to look at them.

Disgusting, there are brown field sites this could be built on. Smells a bit of backhanders. Very unCornish.

Disgusting abuse of a position of power. Chair of the parish council gets planning based on a vote by local councillors! No other local of multiple generations would of stood a chance getting permission in such a location!

What a load of bollocks. A generational person who had the support of most locals being opposed by second home owners and emmetts

Very underhand actions and I would expect all involved to resign their positions on the council.

That whole headland is so underdeveloped, for good reason. Two stories will surely be insightful.
It simply should never be built on.
