This is just robbery. How are we supposed to keep the farm running when the taxes go up this much while grain prices are in the toilet. Get it together.

We need to have a demonstration of how the soil testing was done. My review of the maps indicate that slope was not part of the review. I will submit a topo map overlay.

I submit that the new valuation method be based on on actual use as cropland and non-cropland. This is a matter of justice.

There may need to be changes made to assessed values, but this method is obviously not the right one for Mountrail County.
