The Ford government seeks to shut down 10 safe consumption sites across the province, including 5 in Toronto. Last year, safe consumption sites saved 500+ people from fatal overdose. Ford seeks to replace these sites with rehabilitation centres, but in order to tackle the overdose crisis in Toronto it is crucial that both are readily accesible.
