The undersigned request that Kim Lesley be added to the slate (“the notice of the meeting”) as a nominee for the October 2020 Board of Directors' election per the By-Laws, Article IV, Section 2-D. The petition must be signed by 10% of the voting members which at this time is 12 voting members.

Kim is willing candidate and would be happy to run for this election. She is available to attend Tuesday Executive Committee meetings as well as Saturday Board meetings.

I’m driven to run for the Ashram Board alongside my friend Tracy Verma, as our families are one. We have numerous ideas for fundraising and connections to untapped Ashram admirers. My love and devotion to Guruji’s teachings and the Ashram will naturally add new shakti to the Board. I was blessed to meet Guruji before he took Mahasamadhi. I longed to learn how to meditate and he immediately asked me to inquire “Who Am I”. It was terrifying and blissful and has never stopped unfolding. He asked me to sing and since then I continue to use my voice as a source of healing. I’ve enjoyed leading the fire ceremony for several years and as an interfaith minister I’m grateful to imbibe the teachings of Yoga in my daily life; working in a NYC rehab center for 14 years, running worship services and workshops, and giving group and individual counseling.
