We are trying to implement the use of reusable bags on campus so that we may reduce and eventually eliminate the use of plastic bags at KSU. According to a survey taken during the Fall 2013 semester, the average student on Kent's campus uses 3.93 plastic bags per week - with approximately 6,200 students living on-campus, that adds up to 24,366 plastic bags per week.
