A petition to reform the immigration requirements that prevent children under 21 sponsoring their parents for a US Visa.

I currently have a beautiful and amazing 3 1/2 year old daughter, Adelyn in America. Both Adelyn and her amazing mummy are US citizens. Her mummy and I are not together but we both work together to raise Adelyn to the best of our abilities.

Unfortunately as her daddy, Adelyn cannot petition for me until she is at least 21. Feels like a life sentence.

Since her amazing arrival, I have spent as much time with her as possible and if I'm not with her, I'm on FaceTime with her. She truly is, the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me and has stolen my heart.

Unfortunately I was recently denied a tourist visa which would allow me 6 unbroken months in America with Adelyn.

All in all, I actually agree that I shouldn't be entitled to a Visa just because I have an American child.

However, here I am, planning on writing to the US congress asking them to reform their requirements for foreign parents to something similar like Australia where parents have to pay an administrive fee that allows parents to live and work in the same country as their child. Rightfully the parent isn't allowed any government funding nor are they able to vote. Something which I strongly agree with.

I need ALOT of signatures to have any real impact.

I'm not only doing this for Adelyn and myself, I'm also doing this to help other fathers who desperately want to be with their children.

Every child deserves to have a life with their parents.

Trust me, saying goodbye to your child at an airport, not knowing when you will see them next is the most heartbreaking thing I have ever been through.
