its was tons better being together. And people don't have the time nor money to travel to Lincoln for 3 different festivals.

I too am for combining all the festivals into one weekend. There is not enough in Lincoln to support this many festivals for people to come. Make it one big festival and people will come to see all the events. There's not that much to do at the airport for the balloon festival without having ever supporting events around town

I too am emphatically for bringing back the balloon fest....the way it was....downtown. going to the downtown, visiting shops, playing games, walking the art fair, listening to music....saddens me it has come to this. It was an attempt to do better, but I hear the big complaint was not enough volunteers. I ask everyone to agree to he out...in some way...to make this work. We should also be asking the high school teams and clubs, the woman's club, the oasis, the boy scouts....whatever it takes! Our downtown is dying along with the festivals and only a community who puts in the time, the effort, and the money can receive it! Oh,....and maybe a little support by the city powers that be. ;)

Keep the biggest event in Lincoln together. This year sucked and so many vendors and businesses lost out on the tourism.

Maybe pigs and swig can hold its own. Heard comments from balloons about art fair being gone. Not sure art fair held its own last year. let's make it a success. Thoughts were good about trying to grow each but it seems it is not to be.
