It makes more sense to coordinate the festivities together on a weekend that doesn't interfere with any other festivals in the area

I didn't like how it went again this year. It was just horrible and barely any vendors.

People need to find something else to complain about.

This is the first year I haven't attended the Balloon Fest. I did not like the separation at all. I didn't know about the art fair until it had passed. I wasn't aware they were separating thing this year. Please go back to doing the activities on the same weekend. Since I now live in Normal, I can come down one weekend and enjoy all the activities. Thanks.

Want It back thr way it was. Always has been a big weekend for our family. This is the first year we didn't go to ANY of it. No one I know likes it this new way. Please go back to the way it was

It only makes sense to combine all of these efforts and bring lots of people to Lincoln.

Many thoughts go into why they, the Alliance, decided to separate the Festival. Their excuse was volunteers but in the long run it appears more of a decision to not use community organizations and participants because of their use of out of town vendors. It is also much easier to garner all of the profits when the event is corralled into one location. This whole division was not about the good of the community.

Lincoln was always very busy when all of the events were held on one week-end, even if it was rainy. Also, please include the Illlinois wine tent again...that was always busy with people enjoying wine as well as Lincoln. This year I would not have known anything was going on here by the lack of people.

I loved it when every thing was together it brought a lot of people in and helped the businesses down town. This year was so boring there was not a lot to do in the afternoon of the balloon fest. I heard a lot of people complaining cuz it got split up and they said they are not coming back till it changes and i agree.

I am a downtown business owner and I was so disappointed in the lack of patrons over the balloonfest weekend. Nothing at all like in years past where the downtown was crowded and everyone was in a festive mood. Businesses lost money and Lincoln as a whole looked foolish for splitting the festivals up. Obviously those in charge of making that decision didn't think things over too well, or they would have left things well enough alone. Not a happy business owner.

It was much better having everything put together in one weekend. I missed them all except the Hot Air Balloons this year due to not being informed about them being split. Please put them back together.

Please! you tried it. It didn't work! If you want more weekends filled with things to do come up with new ideas. Don't undo the things that have been bringing people here for years. I had company come every year because there was something for everyone. Please rethink your decision. Listen to the public.

The flea market is essencial to tje success of this event. Why mess up a great thing that was not broken. If one group can't lead it, another should take it over. So missed it this year. Such a waste.

I feel that if a change in something is desired, most individuals would start small. For instance in this case taking the pigs and swigs to a different weekend. By making this a drastic change, there was no opportunity to test the success or failure of the transition. I hope the board who made the decision to separate the festivals will reconsider this decision.
