Children over 21years old not married born outside of the USA are not considered in family status.My Family and I are living and working in the USA since 2015,my older son Italian citizen over 21 years old had to go back.We filed I-130 and the waiting list is 7 to 10 years before he can get his green card.To me as a Mother and being an American Citizen this immigration law needs to be changed.
This law is not fair and does not give the possibility to families that are paying taxes,doing all that is legal through lawyers and needed paperwork to live a happy life and have their children reunited with their families within a reasonable time.What makes me feel even worse as an American Citizen is that many people living in our country with no legal permits or green cards,work live and take their share of benefits.
There must be a way for families doing all that is legal to stand up for their Rights.Hope my concerns will interest families living my same situation and that our government will change this very upsetting law for our children and their loved ones.God Bless America
