This child needs his parents. They care about him more than anybody else in the world. They should be allowed to do what they believe is right.

I find this quite absurd, what exactly will the "hospital " gain from this little boy being separated from his parents. We cant even protect other children from their parents

This is a total disgrace, keeping the parents from being with their little boy whilst he is so unwell. Shame on all involved.

Absoultely horrendous - these are clearly very caring and loving parents who only want to do the best for their son. Instead of being supported they're being hounded and made out to be criminals. As a parent myself I know you only ever want to do the very best for your children. I wish the King family the very best of luck and hope they are reunited very soon. My heart goes out to them at this incredibly difficult time.

do not let a caring service work against the childs best interests. if we cannot aid the parents,we should at least not obstruct their own very capable efforts

The NHS should recognise Proton Beam therapy is available cheaply elsewhere in Europe and they should not be allowed to block UK citizens from seeking such therapy. Further they are obliged to pay for it~

I don't know whether the Kings are right or wrong about the treatment they want for their little boy. However, it seems both crazy and cruel to take them away from the child. They ought to be allowed to investigate the treatment and to use it if the Czech experts consider that it would be of help. These do not appear to be misguided fanatics - simply loving and rightly anxious parents.

This whole sorry tale is an outrage! Shame on the all of the NHS staff involved who failed this sick child and threatened his distraught parents with court action - unacceptable!
