Time Magine has called Woodstock the most peaceful three day event in history! The 45th anniversary of this historic event is fast approaching.
This iconic event is part of American History and its lessons are taught in our schools today. This event belongs to the American People. You have the ability to honor this event and the men who made it possible by opening your site to The Woodstock Nation.
In August 1969, one of the most celebrated music festivals in history took place on your site. Over 500,000 people from across the country gathered in these fields to celebrate "Three Days of Peace and Music." The three days of legendary performances, rain, mud, and unforgettable experiences helped the Woodstock Music and Art Fair become a symbol of an entire generation -The Woodstock Generation.
In the past you have hosted original acts and cover performances to commemorate this event. Your Museum and venues have helped to keep the Spirit of Woodstock alive for future generations. Forty-Five years is a historic milestone, in that many of the original attendees are still living.
We petition you to bring back Mr. Kornfeld, Mr. Lang, Joel Rosenman, the three surviving promoters and reunite them with their fans on the weekend of August 15, 2014.

The momentum surrounding our call to reunite the original promoters with the Woodstock community has become genuinely significant. This collective enthusiasm demonstrates that the spirit of the event remains a vital part of our shared cultural history.

a warm welcom back to the field of reborn flowers..the 45th woodstock reunion..and plz dnt forget your seeds..welcome home mike and artie this is a warm welcome home and a grand invitation to the birth of the woodstock garden..
It is only right to do so and in the long run will be better for Bethel Woods all around.
This reunion definitely needs to happen and would be a tribute to its creators and promoters and very much in keeping with their individual efforts to keep music moving forward from one generation to the next with peace and love.
I was there. It changed my life! Reuniting everyone would be historic! We would be spotlighting the Spirit of Woodstock and preserving it for future generations!
i live in ny state.. i was only 5 0r 6.. but remember visiting with people on their way to event.
