Whereas: We, the People, in ratifying the 16th amendment to the U.S. Constitution have granted Congress unlimited Power to tax our income; Whereas: Congress has abused that unlimited Power to buy votes and campaign contributions by enacting tax preferences for politically favored groups; Whereas: The resulting current tax system is unnecessarily complex and is an impediment to our economic growth and happiness; Therefore: We, the People, demand the tax system be forever simplified by enacting all of the provisions of the Returning Power to the People Tax Reform (RP2 Tax Reform).
