We, Egyptians, find it extremely difficult to see our antiquities scattered all over the world. Those precious monuments have been taken from their original sites in various unwarranted ways ranging from being acclaimed gifts from our past rulers to illegal purchasing and organised robberies. More disturbing is the scene of our ancestors bodies publicly displayed in museums such as the British Museum in London for anybody to see them for a fee. We call upon governments of the countries where our Egyptian antiquities reside to let us have them back to where they belong - EGYPT. Our first call is to the British government where most of our antiquities reside. We believe that returning the Egyptian antiquities is not only civilised but moral.
