There is a group of about 18 of us from various agencies, museums Indiana Landmarks etc. that hope to first get wide range community support and then raise the necessary funds to restore all the pieces that have been found and recast those that have not. We have found the original molds with an iron company in Alabama! Two companies have been here to examine the pieces, tell us what they would recommend, and give us a bid.
If you could pass this petition on to all your friends and please get them to sign it and pass to their friends that would be the biggest help now. The Park Dept and the City say they are supportive but we must show this is what the community wants! Thank you! Vicki
