We, graduates of the Mount, will not stand for the staff that we grew up with, were educated by, and who helped us throughout our Mount experience, to have their benefits slashed after retirement. We will not donate a dime to the our Alma Mater until Simon Newman, the current president, negotiates with the retirees. It is morally reprehensible to take these sorts of benefits from people who served the mount for decades, without any negotiation with them or input from them. They served our community for decades, and we will not stand by while they are being kicked to the curb.
