Smart lunch helped me by providing a time when I can get ahead on my work so that I'm able to do my extra-curricular activities outside of school and not have to stay up late finishing work.

How will stopping a helpful tom for many STOP fights? It's not fair that you punish the many for the few. Rethink your choices. Your a principle.

Suspend the kids fighting and don't punish those trying to succeed. Allow kids to eat outside,monitored or course or in the classroom. Maybe the 9th grade center lease should have been renewed. Overcrowding can cause bad behavior, but don't punish the whole school.

The removal of smart lunch will only cause more issues at our school. Taking away this time from the students will take away their abilities to study for tests, complete homework when they cannot outside of school, volunteer for their academic related clubs, and attend club meetings that otherwise would be too inconvenient to attend after school. If the only reason for the removal of smart lunch is to prevent fights then you have completely made the wrong choice by punishing those who care about their education and their extracuricualar activities.

Smart lunch has helped me so much because I can go to teachers when I need it the most. Sometimes pride time is hard to pay attention in because there are so many students but at lunches it gives you a chance to have more attention from the teacher.

As in real life, high schoolers must learn personal responsibility and consequences, and how to get alon with others. By taking away smart lunch, you have not only failed to punish and pinpoint the problem, but have also now empowered the troublemakers to be able to influence school policy and to influence thousands. You put the power into the wron hands.
