My first comic book was Rich Rider and Nick Fury vs. the Yellow Claw. He was a great character, in spite of the ups and downs (Kid Nova, New Warriors reality show). When Abnett and Lanning resurrected the title, I was hooked. But sadly, it was all a setup for a reboot featuring a non-Rich Rider Nova. I'm 45 years old and an hour from the nearest comic shop. My Marvel subscriptions lapsed this month and in spite of a healthy Comixology account, I don't see myself spending any money on new non-sale titles anytime soon. A new Rich Rider title would have me hooked.
