It's a shame that Marvel spent so much time building Richard up only to spit him out and throw him away. The whole purpose of having the Nova Corps is so that there can be many. If you want to have Sam Alexander, fine, but I will never understand why it was done at the expense of Richard Rider. All you have done is alienated a huge section of your fans and for nothing. Let us help you. Rider is legit. Rider has it in him to be the cosmic equivalent to Captain America. Make it happen Marvel.

Removing Rich Rider from the MArvel Universe was just plain WRONG. NOw that MArvel is rebooting their universe its the perfect opportunity to bring him back as the NOVA PRIME and lead the Corps. PLEASE bring him back!

When Annihilation first launched, I picked it up expecting some half-hearted story about the Silver Surfer, two vaguely familiar villains and some guy I had never heard of before called Nova. By the end of the series, my expectations had been completely blown away. I wanted to hear more on Nova's struggles and maybe find out more about what happened to Ronan and Super Skrull. Thus began my journey into Cosmic Marvel as I followed Richard Rider's exploits and his struggle with his desite to save the universe but being limited by the fact that the Corps was gone and that he was but one man. His struggles conveyed an epic heroic tale, one that should've been allowed to continue - there are so many unanswered questions, like Malik Tarcel with Garthan Saal, and what happened to the probationary Nova Corps and Namorita. Killing Richard off has left these storylines unresolved, and also ended the story of the greatest space hero ever seen. Please don't do this, Marvel, don't shit over your greatest creation. Bring back Richard Rider, the one true Nova!

DnA's Nova TPB Vol. 1 was the first comic I purchased, and I loved it, backtracking through Annihilation, Conquest, and more. Rider-Nova quickly became my favorite comic book character, a void that had stood open for some time. Due to financial concerns, I no longer buy comics of any kind, but I would make an exception for a title featuring Rider as Nova Prime.
