Q: What is Moon Silence, and what makes it better then the original "Silence" Map?

A: Well, I'm glad you asked. Moon Silence is based off the map, "Silence" except it had almost Zero Gravity.(the reason why its called "Moon" silence) It closely resembles the present in-game map "Madness". One of the reasons it was so widely popular, was for the benefits of parkour. You could be on your side and shoot down, causing you to literally shoot yourself into going up a few feet with the zero gravity effect. Also was a very fun game-play!

Q: Why was it removed from the game?

A: Well, I'm glad you asked. Moon silence was a map that was in the game for a short time. It was removed from the game in the Autumn/Fall of 2013. You see, from around 2011-2014, it was the era of the hackers. Moon silence was the easiest to get away with flying hacks and such, do to the lack of gravity. The Tanki Online HQ would receive dozens of reports a day, because of the hackers. This is why they removed it, because they could not control the hacking.

Q: If the hacking was so bad, why return it now?

A: Because of new software coding, Tanki Online could stop the hacking now! Part of the way the anti-cheat code works, is if it detects any suspicious moviement, (such as flying) it will make you slef destruct immediately.(this is why when you are ontop of another tank outside of a parkour map, yo uwill often slef destruct) The only place hackers can even come close to getting away with hacking is in Parkour Mode, because they shut off the anti-cheat software for getting on buildings while in the air.
