Instead you support your favorite breeder because she's nice and you like her. Guess what abuse isn't just about beating an animal! She admitted on the witness stand (I was present) she fed her dogs Atta Cat because some Google animal ingredient calculator told her it was OK. Over 50 dogs and the day of the seizure only 1 empty bag of dog food was found! The rest bags of cat food! Please before you come to the conclusion that she is innocent ask for a transcript of the trial!

Sorry hate to dispute that puppies were for sale at this location, just one month prior to this distressing situation my best friend took possession of an 9 wk old red poodle delivered to her from Cathie via a plane. She purchased this dog directly from Cathie. This pup was a high dollar dog and my friend was so distressed that her puppy my have been mistreated. So the statement that you have first hand knowledge that puppies were not being sold is completely incorrect and misleading. So in this case then any thing you say can not be considered credible information. I spent hours talking with my friend trying to ease her feelings about what the puppy may have gone through and the stress she felt over buying a puppy from a mill. In a million years she had not dreamt that her life long thought of buying a puppy to use as a service dog would have come from someone accused of running a puppy mill.

Odegaard's rights have been repeatedly violated and she has been denied a fair and speedy trial. Further, the state if MT should review and audit HSUS activism, fund-raising, and theft of animals through fraudulent and deceptive practices.

If she wasn't selling puppies why on earth would she need 50 poodles? Good breeders don't have that many dogs and if certain dogs aren't up to par they are spayed or neutered. If puppies in a litter don't sell they don't keep making more. Unless you came to court you have no idea why they were taken and why she was convicted of 8 felonies and a misdemeanor.

My question to Samuel Hay is were you present in the court in Libby this week to witness the proceedings? Ms. Warren received a fair trail which was presented to a judge and twelve jurors. She was found guilty. As far as restitution why should the burden of care fall to the taxpayers of Lincoln county? Again I reiterate she was found guilty, You do not pay restitution unless you are found guilty.

Joan Hart you have been deceived just as the local LE and Prosecutor have. I happen to have personal knowledge that Ms Cathie was NOT selling puppies. Why didnt you mention there was only one puppy on the site that was raided and it was not for sale? I have no idea what your agenda is but no one, especially Ms. Cathie, would abuse dogs that had been bred for their qualities and trained intensively and sell for up to $2500.00. I suppose we are all waiting now for the other shoe to drop. Cases of this nature are actively making their way through the courts, I believe some in the Federal Court System. Plaintiffs include people who were also 'raided' for no reason and put up to their actions by HSUS which according to Attorneys General who have investigated them to be a scam organization. They go into small towns and show photos to Animal Control and LE that are not even of the locations in that city or county! Then they work to have these bona fide, officially licensed, most long term, breeders arrested. They do one thing pretty good. They prepared news releases that the local press runs without objectivity. Then they take these articles and use them to continue their scam. According to one State Attorney General, "They have millions in the bank. They spend less that one percent on 'saving animals. They have enough revenue to support a kennel in every state but they have none." Im just glad Im not a taxpayer in Liberty County because when the other shoe drops, you are talking millions and millions of dollars in restitution. If it can be proven to be a case with more than one conspirator as is the obvious case here, then the damages are automatically trebled. WOW. I'll bet the local community could have done something constructive with FIFTEEN MILLION DOLLARS! The die is cast and once the crime has been committed, conspiracy, the facts never change.
