The government has finally backed down and abandoned the pension reform plans that threatened our livelihoods. I am exhausted by this fight but relieved that we forced them to listen. We must stay alert to ensure they do not try to revive these measures under a different name.

تصر الحكومة المغربية على تمرير مشروع قانون إصلاح التقاعد قبل نهاية ولايتها و الذي يضم مستجدات مجحفة في حق الموظفين كالرفع في سن التقاعد إلى 63 سنة و الزيادة في الإقتطاعات الشهرية لصندوق التقاعد ب 4 ٪ و احتساب معدل الأجر لثماني سنوات الأخيرة بدل احتساب آخر أجر و قد صرح رئيس الحكومة مؤخرا بأن مشروع الحكومة يؤيده الموظفون و الموظفات و بالتالي فسيمضي فيه دون الرجوع إلى الحوار الإجتماعي و لهذا نضع هذه العريضة بين أيديكم للتعبير عن رفضنل لهذا المشروع و نثبث للحكومة أن إفلاس الصندوق لا يجب أن يتحمل نتائجه الموظف بل يجب محاسبة المسؤولين عن ذلك.

The government continues to claim we support these changes despite the clear evidence of our widespread opposition. I am exhausted by the constant dismissal of our concerns but I am not stepping back from this fight.

The government continues to ignore us while claiming we support these changes but this momentum proves them wrong. I am exhausted by the constant uphill battle against their decisions. We will keep showing them that the cost of their failures cannot fall on our shoulders.
