For fiscal responsibility and to prevent politicians from robbing taxpayer funds in Social Security revenues it is proposed to eliminate the "Golden Fleece" (full pay,full benefits,perks,security personnel,etc.) retirement plan politicians endear themselves with and receive the same Social Security retirement benefits as the public. The projected annual savings would be in the millions if not billions. The vast majority of politicians are extremely wealthy and are more than capable of paying medical supplement premiums. Government is supposed to serve the public NOT the other way around.
