We, the following TWU retirees hereby petition the TWU to negotiate and acceptable level medical insurance for TWU retired members.

1. The current level of medical care for retirees is shallow, at best. At a time in our lives when retirees need more comprehensive medical insurance, we get less medical insurance.
2. The new level of medical insurance coverage should be negotiated with retirees in mind, by retirees and for retirees.
3. The costs to improve retiree health care should be covered by they TWU with excess funds currently held in the Telecommunications Workers Pension Plan.
