The Lego Ambassador Network (LAN) recently received news that Lego is no longer going to continue to support LDD - Lego Digital Designer, the free software many of us have been using for years. An explanation from the LCE (Lego Community Engagement) team:

"A business decision has been made to no longer allocate resources towards the LDD program / initiative. For now, the program will continue to be offered to anyone interested in utilizing it but please do not expect any updates regarding functionality, the adding of new LEGO elements or glitch fixes. We have decided to pursue other digital experiences."

We understand that this is an internal business decision made by The Lego Group, however, since we are unaware of any external consultation with users around this decision, we would like to let TLG know of our reaction to this decision and hopefully get them to change their minds!

If you are a user of LDD and want to tell Lego you like them to "Re-think LDD"' that is, rethink the decision to no longer support it, please sign our petition.
