Retaining Fr Iggy as Rector of Saint Joseph Church

We would like Father Ignatius to be retained in St. Joseph Church.

I agree, as they have done alot for the church and the consecration.

Fr Ignatius is an inspires all of us at St. Joseph's to be better Catholics.

St Joseph's Church needs a strong spiritual leader like Rev Fr Ignatius Yeo.

I humbly beg you to let Father Ignatius Yeo stay a little longer.

I think that what God allows is best for all and, the Archbishop is the 'official' voice of God for us and doesn't act randomly, so... honestly, i think this petition isn't justified. I sincerely believe that God has a better plan in the transfer... A priest is a priest, regardless... In my experience, seeking what one thinks is good against what God has allowed is a sure road to pain and unhappiness... so... I'd say... let go God and let God. Pax!

Your Grace - we know we have to be obedient children of the Lord. However Fr Iggy has really brought back the reverence and the true teachings of the bible into St Joseph's Church. The Church has become a true place of worship and taking Fr Iggy out so early in his tenure here might harm our Church. I truly beg you to reconsider extending his term to stabilise and grow our community. Thank you Your Grace.

Fr Iggy is a loving pastor who visits the sick, the dying and comforts the mourners. He has gone out of his way to reach out to all who come to St Joseph's. He celebrates all the sacraments so reverently. He has celebrated our children's wedding and baptised our grandchildren. What a revival! He has just managed forged a close relationship with his people at St Joseph's. To move him now is too premature and hurts all of us his flock.

Two years is too fast for Fr Iggy i to be transferred as there are too much work to be done. We all love him. Please let him stay. Thanks Your Grace.

Not having visited St Joseph 's for many years, I was delighted by the improvements. The baptismal room was so nice as most churches do not hv a room dedicated to this sacrament. I could sense the connection and now understand why so many of my friends attend mass at St Joseph even though they hv their own parish and live far from town.

Your Grace, I notice and believe that Fr Iggy is good and capable and I am also sure that there are other priests who are equally good if not better and more capable than Fr Iggy to serve in the new church. Fr Iggy has been in St Joseph for only 2 short years and now he is to be gone. There is still much work to be done in St Joseph. Let Fr Iggy stay to do the work and prove his worth.

Your Grace, Fr Iggy is only warming up to his flock here. Yes i know there is a need for a capable priest for the new Church, but there are others who are equally if not more capable than Fr Iggy and who have been parish priests much longer (sometimes too long in one place already)... Fr Terence Pereira, Fr Richard Ambrose, Fr Henry Siew, Fr Michael Sitaram, Fr Peter Koh ... just to name a few... these have been in their positions very long and established their churches very well.... maybe these could be some alternative candidates to condsider... leave Fr Iggy in St Joseph's to prove his salt...

Fr Iggy still needs to carry out rectification works - e.g. the pews are dilapidated etc. Keep him there for the remaining four years at least.
