The growth in support has moved us to the next phase of this strategy. I am finalizing a formal letter to the regional leadership and scheduling a meeting with local stakeholders to present our case.

Dear Harley Davidson,
This has to be one of the most crazy decisions I have ever heard in business. You set up a store, you sucker in customers, sell them products and then disappear. You then expect them to travel over 100kms for servicing the products you sold them in Dubai or wherever!
Makes absolutely no business sense, downsize, reduce staff, products etc but keep a presence, servicing, parts and maintain some goodwill from your customers who believed in you to purchase their bikes, as I am confident a lot of those sales would not have happened if your customers knew you were deserting them down the line!
This decision needs a re-think.

I like Harley fujairah show room to be retained. Its a requirement for the Harley bikers here as well as for the riders who come here from other Emirates as this is one of their favorite riding destinations in UAE.

H-D Fujairah is a vibrant, high class showroom which provides a fantastic service to the Emirate of Fujairah. Having more boutiques and showrooms in Sharjah and Dubai does nothing but saturate a over crowded market.
Closing this showroom, like moving the Abu Dhabi showroom to that oversized, over priced "white elephant" location in Mussafah is another fatal marketing mistake.

The store was a big commitment at the outset, but I feel that if the right decision was made, the store should focus more on being a destination for riders as a cafe that served proper food and drinks. Theme it as a US diner, there is nothing like that in the UAE, not only would this attract bikers from other areas, it would also create local business. Downsize the showroom aspect, but increase the cafe area and the boutique side. I have seen places in the UK that are very successful following this business plan, but it would require the right management that can think outside the box to initiate the changes which sadly Harley are very much lacking in their organisation. The problem is essentially the leadership rather than the location.

Many ways to keep harley fujairah operating.
Smaller outlet is a great option.
With a cafe that garantees daily walk-in customers.

Keep H-D in Fujairah to support the loyal customers that have been created there & build up the business over the next two years. Open the cafe as a franchise & market it as a destination for all riders, friends & family. The other Harley shops in the UAE can support Fujairah by for eg sending bikes there for service that they can't at end to in a timely manner by shop van on a week or bi weekly shuttle service.
