Retain Professor Erlinder at DePaul CDM.

Scott is by far one of the best teachers I have ever had. I've need meet someone who cares as much as him.

Scott was instrumental in my education at DePaul. 8 years after graduation I STILL consult the notes I took in his class as well as the literature he provided us. Tenure the man!

Scott was one of the best professors I had throughout my tenure at DePaul. His classes consist of a fantastic blend of technical lecture and hands on experience that helped me learn tremendously. As a Chicago union member I can say I use the principals he taught daily. I hope to see Scott receive tenure soon. He deserves it. -Dave Wagenaar.

Without having taken a class with Professor Erlinder, I would not have been as strong a contender in the film and television industry. I owe him parts of my career. If a professor like that doesn't deserve tenure, who does? Meg Fry

I had the pleasure of doing some acting and otherwise helping Depaul CDM students with their projects. Professor Erlinder routinely would show up and spend is personal time on weekends to help his students with their projects. I find it hard to believe and disappointing that such an incredible teacher and person would not be retained for life in his position at Depaul.

I'm deeply saddened by the information that Professor Erlinder was denied tenure. He is a great teacher and mentor who helped me understand my craft as a filmmaker and documentarian. I hope my signature helps the efforts to grant him tenure.

Please give professor the tenure he deserves!

I took Scott's advanced cinematography course in 2009 and was completely amazed by all the knowledge I took away from it. Knowledge that I still use in my professional life to this day. He was a professor that wanted you to learn beyond what was in the classroom.

I'm a filmmaker who has worked with espn mtv abc and now working on documentaries on behalf of 31 us newspapers. I credit my confidence with new technologies, and their embrace with being a student of Scott erlinder. The man is more then a professor to me. Kindly reconsider this decision.

We need to support one of the most dedicated faculty members in the State of Illinois. It's a true honor to have professor Erlinder at DePaul University. We have been fortunate to benefit from his enormous talent and humanity for all these years. He needs to continue his mission without obstacles.
