Retain the “Organizational Behavior, Systems, and Analytics” MS degree program at NYU

As a graduate of the Organizational Behavior program at Polytechnic/NYU I think it would be unfortunate to end this valuable graduate program.

I was an early graduate of the Organizational Behavior program at Polytechnic/NYU and this program has been such a valuable part of my life. I completed a 5 year BS/MS program and have built my career in HR Management with the tremendous foundation my education provided. I spent 13 years with S&P Global and am now VP, HR Business Partners with QBE. I have mentored many students from this program and have seen the successful careers they have built and continue to expand. this program is extremely relevant for the changing dynamics that we all face today and would be extremely disappointed to see this program discontinued. Thank you for your consideration in this review.

As an HR analyst at JetBlue, I apply the knowledge I gained through this program every day. Lessons learned from courses like Staffing in Organizations, Performance Management, Job & Workplace Design, and Career Management are ones I apply to my current role as an internal career coach and advisor to my fellow Crewmembers. My team, Talent Management, directly oversees the performance management process for 2500 salaried and 400 non-payscale Crewmembers. I've been able to lend valuable insights and contributions to this process through my coursework at Poly (now NYU Tandon). Even more, the HRIS concentration - which, coupled with HR management is what I studied - is incredibly useful and innovative. No other HR/OB program in the city prepares you for a career in HR & People Analytics to the extent that this one does. Although I think the program could be more streamlined, I've gained a significant competitive advantage in terms of job searches, in addition to exposure to the most innovative companies in People Analytics - an undoubtedly growing field. I've had contacts in other programs around the city, and this one is unique and so in line with industry changes.
