We the tax payers are requesting that our state representatives defend the rights of the tax payers who are overburdened with excessive school taxes due to the unstainable increases to our levy due to the Teachers Unions. We are requesting that there be laws passed to protect our children from the  the Teachers Unions. The contracts that these unions have with the New York State School districts are no longer sustaianble. If there is not a complete overhaul of the teacher unions and their contracts we will not have public schools that are of quality for our children. We will only be sustaining benefits and salary increases that are no longer sustainable and more and more programs are cut for children. Do we as parents not have the right to give our children a quality education? We are no longer a child centered educational program but solely teacher centered. We as tax payers and the voice for those who can not speak out - OUR CHILDREN ask that you protect the future of our state and nation by protecting our children!  Please sign this petition if you want your state representative to represent you in helping to protect your children educational future by passing laws to eliminate tenure and a restructuring of the benefit packages given to teachers.
