As it stands, Gusto's pay schedule is harmful to the restaurant's employees. Not receiving checks until the 5th or later puts many employees in a very stressful situation in regards to ensuring that rent and other bills are paid on time. It is proposed that the pay period be restructured to reflect the real-life deadlines of working people. Instead of collecting payroll data from the 1st to 15th and again from the 16th to the last day of the month, shift it five days earlier so that workers can get paid on a similar schedule corresponding to financial needs that all people have.
