Public Restrooms at Altadena Park - Phoenix
With Splash Pad season upon us, I think it's time to reconsider the City of Phoenix building a restroom for Altadena Park. I called the City and am aware that there have been several attempts before and the neighborhood is divided. The City put a porta-potty there (which I agree, does not look great for our neighborhood) and was removed because everyone complained. I think if the City built a nice restroom structure, it would be much more attractive AND sanitary. We moved into the neighborhood about a year and a half ago and we love using the park. My boys love playing in the splash pad during the summer but there are no restrooms for the visitors to use. They just go in the splash pad. VERY UNSANITARY. If we could all put aside our personal opinions, and think about all the children (park, splash pad, little league) that could benefit the park, it would make for a much pleasant experience for our visitors.
Please sign my petition to submit to the City. Do it for the kids of our community. Let's keep our park sanitary this summer and for every season!
