You can get a junior gun license and a junior Boat license why not a motorcycle license aslong as you are with a fully licensed rider that way they will have some experience riding when they get there L plates and start riding on the roads

One of the greatest things you can do for a young person is encourage a hobby rather than drugs or alcohol

I have three kids and all of us ride bikes it would be great to all go riding in the bush together

Yes I agree kids should be able to ride in the bush on a restricted licence

I agree 100% , kids should be able to ride with an accompanied adult. Half the kids these days ride awsome and are pretty switched on .

I've been talking about this since my kids threw a leg over a dirtbike years ago. We have junior shooters permits, so why not junior riders permits.

Bout time somethings been done

This will not only raise money for the gov but also for those already doing it illegally, teach them road rules and safe riding practices

Helps teach kids responsibility.

Other sports allow it with the marine industry and shooting etc

For safer future riders.

Yes I support the 12yo+ recreational motorcycle permit

I don't have children yet this is the type of bonding that helps to keep the young out of trouble
