Bloody great idea!! Would stop half the illegal riding that goes on plus Parents can spend quality time riding in the bush legally with their kids

Definitely a great idea, no negatives and a great way to teach kids to ride responsibly.

I don't have children and I don't want any. However this doesn't take away from the fact that WE SHOULD ALLOW ALL PARENTS the right to ride with their kids. What do authorities think will happen? That 12yr old kids will ride alone? What bloody parent would allow this? Seriously!

Great idea. They can get a boat licence and a gun licence at 12. I have no dramas with this if they are riding with a fully licenced and registered rider.

Makes a lot of sense, just like learning how to do the right things with an experienced driver whilst driving a car
