Also a 7 year old child can hold a Motorcycling Australia license to race motocross Nationally, yet not allowed to ride on bush tracks with his dad. Something is not right with the law.

I have believed in this for years. A 12 year old can have a shooters license and carry a gun, drive a boat by himself, ride a recreational registered bike and be covered by the TAC. Yet we can be fined for being unlicensed. The law need to change

My son has been a motor bike rider since he was 7. My grandchildren started around the same age. Teaching them to ride responsibly at an early age is the best option. Keeping the cost minimal encourages legal riding situations.

I believe even kids under 12 should be aloud to ride with a fully licensed rider, even as a 16 year old i cant ride in the bush with my family who are fully licensed, it really sucks. I can and do drive boats and jetskis on my own on a restricted license going anywhere i want however fast i want, we should at least be aloud to ride in ghe bush
