This would be a great idea, and would see a lot safer riders by the the time they turn 18 and are out on their own.

A junior shooter has these rights in regard to learning safety and respect from a responsible adult. Why not a junior rider?

Totally agree with a restricted recreation licence for children. Most police I've encounted turn a blind eye as long as the bikes a registered, the adults are all licenced and doing the right thing with everything else. This shouldn't be illegal considering the most sold bikes in Victoria are children's (or small) dirt bikes. This should already be thing,

This would be great, my kids have there boat license and can drive our boat with me, but when we go camping they have to leave there motorbike's at home, and can't come for a ride.

I agree why carnt we I have a son and would like nothing better to have him ride in bush with his dad

I forgot to mention we do BOTH as a family. The Kids learn a lot about respect and responsibility

I fully support the idea for 12 year olds being able to get a Restricted Recreational Licence, riding a Rec Reg bike, supervised by and adult licences rider. It is no different for Junior Shooters who at 12 can do the regulated Safety course to get a permit to shoot with a the supervision of a licenced adult shooter (This is already Law)

We should be able to have a similar thing here in NSW and for it to be feasible i.e. don't make it ridiculous otherwise people will continue to risk getting caught and ride unregistered

We need young riders to enjoy our great outdoors not sitting in there rooms.

Kids need adventure. Whilst bikes are a bit dangerous, it's a great alternative to what a lot of kids are getting into.
