If kids can get a shooters licence and a boat permit, why not a rec reg permit

Get this happening!!!

Please allow a junior permit for our children to ride responsibly with a supervised, licensed adult. As a recreation, trail riding is an excellent way for our children to spend time with their parents, whilst being out doors in a healthy environment. It allows us to teach our children vital motor skills and gain experience before they are able to ride on the roads legally.

Supervision in the bush learning the right way to ride with minimum impact on the environment and other bush user groups is the best way to keep kids off the street

Fabulous idea! Where else are they supposed to learn? given this to go out with licensed riders would be fantastic!

Yes please. I am just a few months off being 18 so not a problem how ever I have friends who ride with me and are either forced to ride illegal or not at all. What would you rather? Illegal and riding safely or legal and riding safely. Good luck!

Think of the familys out there who want to take kids out bike ridding

What about under 12's? My 8 year old has more talent in the bush than some adults I ride with. I am all for this idea, I would also like to see trailsides organised in the forestry with council/government approvals.
