Suggested amendment: Keep this as a community initiative. Village Government, RCMP, NLG and other entitities can provide financial or other support.

My home community is being disrespected, it is time that these individual become accountable for their actions. New Aiyansh needs community patrol or something to stop all this destruction, vandalism and thefts that are happening on a constant basis. I fear for the safety of all who live there. Please don't wait for something extremely devastating to happen before Lisims or Village Government step in and help resolve these huge community concerns.

I am scared for my parents as they are elders and my dad is blind..... I live down south and can't be there to protect them...... this is unacceptable behaviour for our community!! We were raised to respect and look out for one another..... these kids need to be reprimanded for their inexcusable actions. RCMP need to start doing their job and patrolling at night, when i was home just recently i never seen a cop car once in our community getting paid to do nothing.... its time for action before someone really get hurt!

Amen. I only wish that something serious was done when this first started. If the RCMP couldn't do anything, you think they would have engaged The Ministy, and these kids should have gotten some help. Dealers do pick their slaves and it's sad that it is our young children. I don't know how we could also go about having Peace OFFICERS back In the Community. I am grateful the Govetnments are talking about Jail time for Dealers and not just fines, as they make a lot of money, just pay and set up shop... Maybe our Community should make a By-Law that if there is reports of such activity, they will be removed from the Community, NO questions asked..... The law is to lenient and now I hear we have Dealers on almost every street. We could have/should have stopped it a long time ago, and deal with things our own way, rather then waiting for a system that falls short at times.

This is exactly what I stated in my impact statement as one of the victims. It's costing me a lot especially emotionally and financially. Thank you for this.

I hope this all stops. I also hope this doesn't turn negative as well for the parents to be offended, our house was spray painted black too, and I haven't even tried to remove it yet, would be nice if these individuals start by cleaning up their mess, like washing that vandalism off

It s well known who the individuals are. They need to be removed and taught properly in a structured setting before things get out of hand.
