The legend of the Dodge City Red Demons came about due to a slip of the tongue. We were once known as the Dodge City Red "D"- men. Personally, I like that the demon face is a little frightening. Puts out sport competitors on edge a bit. Please put our Demon mascot back on the water tower.

This was painted over by a person who took things into their own hands. That's not how we do things in a democracy. The mascot is what it is, and it has nothing to do with a demonic cult. It belongs back on the water tower. I graduated a Demon and it was on my announcements.

Class of 1981. I was in art class and remember a competition to redesign the Red Demon. Does anybody remember who won that? I remember it being a really big deal back then!!

I didn't grow up in Dodge but I have lived here since 1971. Our children were all DCHS graduates. Please put the demon back.
