It seems we have spent a lot of money to make our club competitive and beautiful. With the new dress code recently adopted it seems we are more like a recreation center than a country club...open toed shoes for men, untucked shirts among other things and to discourage neighborhoods from having special events together at the club is in direct opposition to what the country club should be about. When we went to Mother's Day dinner, the male member at the table next to us was in Bermuda shorts and flip flops. He should not have been admitted. Jackets were requested! I am very disappointed.

I agree that we should be able to have private outings. I also agree that we do no change the dress code.

Unfortunately, many aspects of our society are being "dumbed down" every day. Let's not include SWCC with an unacceptable dress code and governance that ignores membership input.

I agree with those who want to return to a Country Club Dress Code. I also feel that changes to prior procedures should be carefully discussed then. voted upon by the members

SWCC is a 1st rate Country club let’s keep tucked shirts and covered shoes in place.

I am totally against the Board changing the dress code. Our dress code has worked extremely well for the past 20 years. I am disturbed by the sloppy attire on some people coming into our club. This needs immediate attention by the Board. This is a country club not a casual beach club.

Communication and better use of the existing committee structure could make this Club to which we are proud to belong...is the culture here and in our country headed toward the lowest common denominator?

These are MAJOR policy changes that should be decided by the membership, not a select few. I fully support this petition.

This is not what we joined this club for, please rescind this policy. If we wanted a more casual atmosphere we'd go to Pinchers.

I appreciate our neighborhood taking a stand now before things get totally out of hand.
Can we do this with our government too?

20 years of dues down the drain to become a low class club. Board members should be ashamed .

I do not agree with the dress code change. Let’s return to the traditional country club dress code.

This is the start of a dress down style that belittles what we signed on for...dress code reflects the style of the club...our current dress style reflects us.
We highly support this petition.
