Is the new BOS public comment policy a violation of the Brown Act?

They are assigned to represent the public - which means the public should have the ability to share their views

For relevance, public testimony should be allowed after staff presentation and Board discussion.

The Gag Rule controversy helped fuel the rise of the Liberty Party and later the Republican Party, as voters sought representatives who would protect the right to be heard.

Hearings are for the public. Limiting public dialog to one time 3 minutes in the morning for all items before the BOS makes no sense. Please reconsider!

I chose to live in El Dorado County because much of the corruption and deceit that contaminates the rest of California is not openly visible in EDC. I have lived and worked around the world, and I know of the corruption in our government. I hoped that the same Globalist Pimps who have contaminated American life would not touch us in EDC. We now know the Globalists have invaded our County, and the required next step is to throw anyone aligned with them out of office, and to keep a close watch on their corrupt, illegal actions. F The EDC County Government. Throw them out of Office and start again.

Do not go down the same road as the CA State Legislature, who continue to limit public input, not to mention with more and more secret sessions. It is more and more evident that the state is usurping our local elected boards and commissions, and taxpayers you are elected to serve deserve to be able to express their opinion, on what can be a myriad of diverse issues.

They forget, they are our voices, if they can't hear the voices how do they represent us?

All of the signers need to elect different supervisors. Doing the same things in elections and expecting different results won't solve the real underlying problems.
