Even many governors are recognizing that the free exercise of religion is to be preserved even during this crisis. Rights that we give up to the State are rights we may never have again without more bloodshed.

To our Shepherds, I pray you will see how much we need the sacraments in this time of crisis, even more than we need our physical health. May we all remember Our Divine Healer is Who we need to turn to.

Restore the mass and the sacraments: God alone can see us through this crisis. Our country and our Church must return to God - masses, fasting, and prayer, perpetual adoration. Be prudent in taking precautions, but not foolish in response. Your Excellencies, your children are imploring you to act as their spiritual fathers, to act as Christ, and to help us act like saints by living out our faith with hope and trust in God. How is it that the mass, the source and summit of our faith, the representation of the sacrifice of Calvary, is deemed unessential?

It is a very sad time in our world that this can happen, especially here in the USA. It is really sad that where I am we can't even get confession now in these last weeks of Lent which is our Easter duty as Catholics. I could never imagine I would see the day in my lifetime that this is what it has come to. Our priests and bishops must speak up. Jesus protect us.

With proper precautions, there is no reason masses can't be said more frequently and in smaller groups until the threat has passed. Please, please, please restore the mass. We are decaying from the inside out without its grace.

Attending mass is not only my constitutional right but my God given right. I implore the Church’s leaders to not succumb to threats from politicians. First they stop us from attending mass in our Church. Then what’s next? No longer allowed to pray in our homes? Saints Damien Of Molokai, Marianne Cope and many holy people were not afraid to work with lepers. Our Churches should never be forced to be closed.

I am disheartened and saddened that our Church leaders could not problem solve in order to come up with a better alternative to keep the Holy Sacrifice of Our Lord and Savior available to His people. The Mass must be reopened!

Please find a way for us to go to Mass and receive the Eucharist. If the liquor stores are essential, how can our Bishops not defend the Eucharist as essential? How?

I am a nurse. Not being able to receive the Blessed Sacrament during this crisis makes my job all the more stressful.
