This hospital needs reopened my father died because he had to bypass one perfectly good hospital to go to the Lourdes hospital in drogheada and he died 10 minutes away from the Lourdes he was only 46 years old..

How can Dundalk be considered a Gateway town and advertise itself as a hub for tourism when there are no acute medical services in the Area , A multi million euro race track but if a jockey gets injured he would need a helicopter to get hospital attention. This is just an example of the need for reinstateing the Louth Hospital
