Mr Largent disrupts every meeting he has attended at our Republican meetings in Rogers City. He is not whatsoever a true Republican, not even a RINO. A 1st class disrupter.

Largent has made his opposition to fundamental worker's rights very obvious, particularly in his response to the leaked email when he began ranting about someone being paid what they were owed and treating it as if it were a crime. What Largent fails to realize is that the only crime is the power he has been given over the hard-working staff at the Farmington Community Library. Remove him now.

I was a volunteer at the Library for more than 5 years and assisted Library patrons with advice and demonstration of computer methods which were primarily for the benefit of Senior patrons. (like myself) I would be happy to become active in this capacity again if the library could become patron and staff oriented once again.

Libraries are an extremely important public asset for education, software, internet access, children's growth and activities, and community engagement. They should not be leveraged for political or personal gain, and those in charge of them should seek to foster a welcoming space for their communities to engage in. It is apparent that under current management, this has neither happened nor even been a priority. Give the position to someone who respects the value of the library, its staff, and the community, not a politically appointed crony.

I agree that Bill Largent is a huge impediment to the smooth and respectful operation of what was once one of our community’s finest assets and services. Bullies should be given no place in our society. Largent must be removed to allow healing and trust to be rebuilt. Otherwise, the story will continue to be about Largent, which is what bullies desire most — constant attention whether negative or posit.

As a school librarian, I support my colleagues in the public library. Staff who are furloughed should be called back before 'new' positions are posted.

Lack of professionalism, lack of understanding the nature of public libraries. Get rid of Largent and get the staff back. There should be NO job postings while staff is furloughed.
