My family moved to Wichita in January 2017. Our entire family plays tennis with 2 kids in USTA and school tennis and my husband and I both play USTA. Riverside is the first facility we attended upon our move to Wichita. Jeff Clark was a big part of me being asked to play on several USTA teams in a matter of weeks in Wichita. Jeff is a great tennis instructor, but his greatest asset is connecting people in the community with tennis as the avenue. The City of Wichita has an opportunity to redeem itself by bringing Jeff back to the Riverside facility where he is desperately needed and wanted by tennis patrons of Wichita.

It’s unfair of the City to deny all of us a wonderful coach such as Jeff Clark. It’s certainly not right to deny him the position because of one person or two people don’t care for Jeff. Riverside certainly isn’t what it was when Jeff was there.

I travel a lot and I can tell you the city does not understand how good they had it. Jeff ran great programs. My biggest concern is the youth programs. Jeff provided lower income kid's the opportunity to grow and compete. Just look at the state tournaments each year and you would see Jeff's students

Jeff is the sole reason our group switched from Genesis to Riverside 7 yrs ago. We have now reluctantantly moved back to Genesis...no one in my opinion cares about the individual player, regardless of age, as much as Jeff does.
Swallow your pride City and do what's best for our tennis community and OUR city.

All of the work that has been put in over the last 7 years is being erased and kids that don’t have to money for genesis or the country clubs aren’t getting affordable the opportunities that riverside offers. Without riverside and Jeff I would not have been able to play Tennis in college.

I know Jeff Clark personally. He is a dedicated man and a superb instructor. Beyond the incredible insult of firing Jeff, to watch Riverside be cast aside by the city is very disheartening.

My spouse and I had attended lessons twice weekly for nearly 10 years. We have not been back since Jeff left. Please bring back Jeff so he can return the quality tennis programming.

Jeff works harder than anybody I know. Riverside is his home and the tennis players there are his family. It is ridiculous that he is no longer there!
