Please restore the shower water pressure and look for savings elsewhere. I would pay an additional 2-3/ month. This change was myopic!! Members should have had a chance to comment before!!

“Low Flow Must Go!” This action was initiated at the Budget and Finance Committee at the end of the board term last year. The goal is to save $40,000 per year. The new shower heads are inefficient and an embarrassment if you take an athletic guest. The board needs to reverse this today! This was attempted 13 or 14 years ago and was immediately corrected by the board due to the dissatisfaction of the membership. The present board needs to listen to the members and fix it NOW!!!

Pls replace the showerheads with another one which provides sufficient water spay to remove hair shampoo quickly.

Every board member should install these shower heads in their home!

The change disregarded known and long standing opposition to inadequate shower heads. It decision seems very dismissive of member preferences.

Overall the MAC does a pretty good job, but about 17 years ago, they tried replacing the showerheads with similar "spritzers" that were totally inadequate, and they were replaced. At that time, the Board stated the water savings was approximately $2/member/year. I sent a letter to the Board enclosing a $2 bill, and told the Board it was the best $2 in dues I would pay all year. The same holds true today, and I would gladly pay the extra $3.50 in dues as a result of having decent shower heads with decent flow and pressure.

The new shower heads replaced heads that had marginal flow. These are worse!

Get rid of management and board they don't have a clue. If you read the winged M this month the president says its a member run club. WRONG If you also read the bldg manager's article about how great he is doing WRONG. Showers have no soap at 6 AM, no toilet paper, lights burned out for months, hot tub down 3 times in a week. That's not a quality club it is a poorly run club. Far from WORLD CLASS more like 3rd rate

I work in the plumbing business. I can tell you none of our customers like low flow heads. There are other areas for water conservation that should be looked at if that is the primary objective.

In my 50+ years as a MAC member, I have seen many changes and most were improvements. The shower heads do not serve the purpose they are intended for -- rinse soap out off body and out of hair.

I don't have hair but I am in the shower longer getting the soap off my body. Plus, this is second class treatment of members in a first class club. Shame on the Board of Trustees.

A private club should have good amenities, and the shower heads do not qualify.

In my 35+ years of membership, this is only the 2nd time I've felt I needed to speak up about a change that has too much negative impact on member appreciation and satisfaction with our facility. I am not sure how the new shower heads passed any 'acceptance testing' process, but they certainly do not do not provide the high-level experience I think the MAC does such a great job providing in most phases of club operation. I strongly suggest you revet back to the old shower heads or some new product that increases water flow to an acceptable level. Thanks,
