We need more police presence in Leeton, there is too much crime and break ins happening. We need to feel safe again !!

The petty crime situation seems to be getting worse, and I believe a consistent police presence in town would be a deterrent. We have been hearing about a lot of opportunistic break-ins of late, and it's unsettling. I want my kids to be able to go freely about town without fearing for their safety. Isn't that supposed to be one of the benefits of living in a small rural town?

I live alone and am starting to feel unsafe in Leeton with break-ins everywhere, graffiti on the rise and a clear drug problem in town.

Moved here from Sydney, thinking a better place for grandchildren , couldn't believe there is no police, on call doctors for the hospital, government needs to step up and look after country people . 21st century .

Just moved back to town after 15 years thinking it’s a better place than Sydney to start a family. Not impressed with the recent break ins abd drug related crime

If the town is ever going to feel safe again for everyone we need more police presence 24 hours a day not every now and again.

Definitely need more police and station to be open 24hrs not being transferred to Griffith station there got there own problems there not going to worry about ours

We moved here 1 year ago thinking it was a safe place to bring up our granddaughter but we had someone trying to break into our car and our neighbor had his car broken into at Christmas time so a police that can be here a lot quicker and closer will make people feel a lot more safe.

It’s sad that if something happens in town we usually have to wait for someone to come from Narrandra or Griffith
